Prim automatic watches

Automatic watches draw their energy from the natural movement of the wrist. A rotor inside the movement winds the mainspring, which stores the energy the watch needs to keep running, and all of it without a battery. Prim uses its own in-house calibres 93, 94, 95, 98, 103 and 105, as well as Swiss Sellita movements, Japanese Miyota and, occasionally, Seiko-TMI. A power reserve of typically 40 to 80 hours means that a watch put aside over the weekend is usually still running; if you rotate several pieces, a winder from our accessories will keep them wound. An exhibition case back shows the movement at work.
