Watch renovation PRIM

Your watch will not age – give it a second life with us! Renovation is a way to restore shine, functionality and charm to watches that have been with you for decades. PRIM is not just a brand, but also a tradition and history that lives in millions of Czech homes. Watches are often associated with memories of close, significant life moments or simply with a love for timeless retro style. By renovating them, you will give them new life – and a new continuation to the memories they carry.

Do you have any watches at home that you have a special connection to? Maybe you received them for graduation or inherited them from someone you would like to keep as a memory? Maybe you also like the current retro style, but the watch you would like to wear does not work, the dial is faded or the hand is missing? Refurbishing your old watches will help you get your old movements running and bring back the shine to your favorite watches, and we will be happy to take care of it.

We offer a comprehensive renovation program. What does this mean?

• we will completely repair your watch.
• we will clean the machine and adjust it
• we will revive and clean the original case (for the Diplomat 34 watch type, we can replace the case with a completely new brass one with a new surface finish, for the Sport I, Sport II models, we can replace it with a new one made of stainless steel)
• we will put new glass on the watch
• we either clean the dial and hands or replace them with a new part

Services on request:

• conversion to a new stainless steel case
• individualization of the case, lid, dial, hands, crown and caliber
• new leather or rubber strap

In the past, less durable materials were used to make cases. The new stainless steel case for selected types of watches will not only make them more attractive in appearance, but also increase their durability during everyday wear.

These are flat-rate price packages based on the type of watch, which take into account the scope of work and the caliber (movement) used. We will price any spare parts beyond the standard separately in advance. We will be happy to provide you with flat rates upon request, after sending you photos of your products. The delivery time is usually 3 months from the date of payment of the deposit.

For exceptional pieces, we offer an individual approach with an emphasis on detail and top-notch craftsmanship.

Would you like to keep your story and memories, but have them in a new body? We will keep the movement and transfer it to a new designer case (for example, Sport I., II. or Linea). You will get a new modern PRIM watch for everyday wear with a historical heart.

The price and delivery time are always individual – after inspecting and assessing the watch, we will tell you both the price and delivery time.

Have you found old primkas at home, whose heart is the caliber 66 or 68? We will rebuild them for you in a new case. The elegant LINEA case is suitable for both formal and everyday wear. Remember to treat your refurbished watch like a vintage car – with love and respect. They are not waterproof and are not intended for daily heavy use.

1. Bring your watch to one of our boutiques (Prague – Nekázanka, Ostrava – Nová Karolina Park, Nové Město nad Metují, Frýdek-Místek), or send it to us
2. Pay a deposit, or just an administrative fee of 390 CZK (this fee is charged for each assessment of a watch for renovation)
3. After your approval of the renovation plan and budget, our master watchmakers begin their work.
4. You can pick up the finished watch in person or we will send it to you.

For each refurbished watch, we will issue you with a Certificate of Originality, which is confirmation that the watch has been professionally refurbished by the manufacturer. Thanks to certified renovation, your prims can serve you for decades to come – with the promise of preserving their beauty and historical value for future generations.
