About the collection
It was the result of an ambition to put Czechoslovakia among the handful of countries able to develop and manufacture their own wristwatches. The first pieces were not made for the market, but for testing. They were worn by workers, technicians and state officials. Their accuracy, reliability and durability were monitored for a year. Only then did the real beginning come.
Spartak is therefore not just a historical model.
It is the moment when an idea became reality.
Spartak 43 LE consciously builds on this moment and shifts the original aesthetic toward sporty elegance. Not by going back to the past, but by continuing something that already made sense back then: honest construction, legibility, functionality and attention to detail.
The 316L stainless steel case, 43 mm in diameter, combines polished and brushed surfaces with hand-polished facets. Light breaks differently across it with every movement, so the watch never feels like a static object, but like a harmonious accessory that reveals a different, refined face under each lighting condition.
The relief sunburst dial is available in two variants — blue and silver. The purity of its execution is no aesthetic accident. It is a direct reference to the original Spartaks, which carried no Prim logo because back then there was nothing yet to carry.
The screw-down crown and 100-metre water resistance give the watch the character of a real everyday tool. Exactly in the spirit of the original pieces, made to perform in real use, not just behind glass.
Inside ticks the in-house caliber 98 from Nové Město nad Metují, with a power reserve of at least 48 hours. Visible through the sapphire crystal on the case back — a reminder that the essence of a watch was always inside.
Only 50 pieces of each colour variant will be made.
Just as back then, this is not mass production but a limited series for those who know what they wear.

About the model
A watch that was here before Prim itself.
The original Spartak from 1954 carried only its name on the dial. The Prim logo came later.
Spartak 43 LE respects this history — with a clean dial without the Prim logo. What remains is the essence: structure, colour and the play of light.
A 43 mm case diameter, 13.7 mm height and 22 mm lug width ensure balanced wear. On the wrist it feels confident, yet natural.
The front sapphire cylindrical crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial; the flat sapphire crystal on the back reveals the movement. Two views of one watch — one visual, the other technical.
In-house caliber 98 from Nové Město nad Metují. 22 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, power reserve of at least 48 hours.
Dive into the story of this legend. We have written down the history of the Spartaks — you will find it on our blog.
Only 50 pieces of each variant.
Spartak came first. And the dial will remind you of that every time you look at the time.
