About the collection

Spider as inspiration for an elegant watch?

For some, it may be completely unimaginable, but in the case of this model, it really happened. When the model with its typical curved legs, which were strikingly reminiscent of the legs of a straddled spider, was first introduced to the public in the 1960s, the name was born. Simply “spiders”. Even if there had been an attempt to give the model another name, it would not have succeeded.

This designation is proudly carried by the model and every version, every variant and innovation as well. PRIM PAVOUK does not scare anyone. On the contrary. It is one of the most elegant and beautiful that the Czech watchmaking tradition has brought to the market. 60. The 1930s were a time of freedom for designers, and unsurpassed designs for social models were created at that time. The spider is undoubtedly one of them.

As beautiful as it is, it is also demanding to manufacture. The legs, in particular, evoking the spread legs of a spider, require many, many hours of hand polishing and grinding. Without detailed and delicate work, the beautiful facets that refract light so captivatingly, reflect it and emphasize the attractive details of the dial would not be created.

It is elaborately crafted with small plastic relief details and raised indexes. It is available in several colors and the material of the case and hands can be changed according to your wishes. This model is almost destined for individualization.

PRIM PAVOUK 34 is an open edition with a 34 mm case size that fits a slender women’s wrist. The white, black or anthracite dial with fine embossed details and a metal mesh strap creates an unmistakable charisma and aesthetics. The stainless steel case ensures durability and harmonizes with the color of the indexes and hands.

Through the glass cover of the watch we can see the in-house movement, PRIM caliber 93.00 with manual winding. With 17 jewels it performs 21,600 oscillations per hour (3Hz). The power reserve is min. 48 hours. The hand-blued screws are also impressive at first glance.
