Roman Hájek is a professor of oncology and the head of the Department of Haematooncology at the University Hospital Ostrava and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava. He completed his university studies in 1988 at the Faculty of Medicine of J.E. Purkyně University / Masaryk University Brno, obtained his doctoral degree in 1995 in the field of haematology, passed his board certification in 1996 in internal medicine, in 2000 in oncology, and in 2012 in haematology and transfusion medicine.
Professor Roman Hájek took on the role of ambassador of the PRIM Jan Janský Pulsometer Chronograph watches, and as part of this collaboration, an amount of CZK 45,000 from the sales of the Jan Janský Pulsometer Chronograph model series will be donated to support the haematooncology clinic of the University Hospital Ostrava.
