Libor Podmol

Libor was born into a motorcycle family. He received his first motorcycle at the age of ten as a Christmas present. From the age of 13 to 19, he raced classic motocross. When he discovered Freestyle Motocross at the age of 19, he immediately fell in love with it and, as he says himself, it changed his life.

In 2013, he became the first non-American rider to win the StepUP discipline at the extreme sports Olympics, the X Games. In 2015, he managed to win a World Championship race in China. Towards the end of that same year, he underwent a spiritual transformation, began practicing meditation, yoga, and philosophy. In 2016, Libor won the X Games again and in November published his first book, The Diary of Libor Podmol. As the first motocross rider, Libor Podmol received a state decoration.
