The limited edition PRIM Dakar LIAZ 1985 officially unveiled. Sold out within 24 hours!
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Automoto Museum Lučany hosted the official unveiling of the limited edition PRIM Dakar LIAZ 1985 watch. The event brought a strong wave of motorsport nostalgia and a proud moment for Czech watchmaking craftsmanship — the model pays tribute to the participation of Czechoslovak drivers in the 1985 Rallye Dakar.
Among the guests were former drivers Jiří Moskal, Jaroslav Joklík and other figures associated with this chapter of motorsport history, as well as media representatives and enthusiastic fans of the PRIM brand. Also present was Josef Kakrda, who played a significant role in preparing the edition and helped give the watches their authentic story and details.
The Automoto Museum Lučany provided the ideal backdrop — among vintage cars and exhibits, the watches were presented in a context that perfectly complements their motifs. Guests could admire up close the meticulous craftsmanship: dial details inspired by the dashboard, engravings referencing the year 1985, and the limited edition marking on each piece.
The response was immediate — all 40 pieces of the edition sold out within 24 hours of the launch. This interest confirms that a strong story combined with the quality and authenticity of the PRIM brand resonates powerfully with collectors and motorsport fans alike.
