PRIM ORLÍK 38

The inspiration for the PRIM Orlík 38 model was the legendary watch from the mid-1960s, which is undoubtedly an icon of Czech watchmaking today.

The modified design of the dial and the new rotating ring are made using HyCeram ® technology instead of by laser, bringing the appearance closer to the historic model. Not only are the design of the case and dial and the absence of a date window typical for this watch, but also its more subtle dimensions and the atypical convex sapphire crystal glass cover. The absence of an eccentric seconds hand caters to those customers who prefer a more minimalist wristwatch design. Thanks to the use of new technologies, the water resistance of the watch has been increased to 10 ATM.

The watch is equipped with a mechanical in-house calibre 95 movement manufactured directly in the ELTON watch factory in Nové Město nad Metují. The Orlík 38 model is therefore a purely Czech product, as was the historic model it is based on.

For admirers of Czechoslovak watchmaking, the name Orlík is synonymous with virtually indestructible wristwatches. The Czechoslovak army, for whom the model was originally made, verified this by subjecting it to extreme tests - the watch had to withstand, for example, a fall from a height of several metres, a few minutes in boiling water, or being frozen in a block of ice.
