PRIM Open Day 2025: Tradition, Craftsmanship, and the Joy of Coming Together<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first Saturday of September traditionally belongs to all fans of Czech PRIM watches. Over the years, the Open Day has become a beloved event not only for locals with a personal connection to watchmaking, but also for our customers, collectors, and craft enthusiasts from across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After several years of annual events, we introduced a biennial cycle \u2013 and it turns out the wait is worth it. This year, we celebrated several significant anniversaries together: 75 years of Czech watchmaking tradition (1949\u20132024), 70 years since the first Spartak watches, and 60 years of the legendary Orl\u00edk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manufactory Tours<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The heart of the entire event was the guided tours. Visitors followed a marked route where our employees welcomed them at individual stations, eagerly presenting their work and the individual steps of the manufacturing process. The greatest attention was traditionally given to the watchmakers \u2013 although guests could only peek into their workshop through glass, it was still fascinating to watch the precise handwork that gives life to every PRIM model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Programme for the Whole Family<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To ensure everyone had a great time, we prepared an outdoor accompanying programme. Children enjoyed a bouncy castle and balloon workshops, while adults were thrilled by a falconry demonstration with two eagles \u2013 symbolically held during the celebration of the Orl\u00edk model. There were local stalls with jewellery, toys, and refreshments, as well as our own sales stand. This year, a presentation by our partner Toyota also attracted considerable attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wall clock shop also drew great interest from visitors, especially the opportunity to create a custom clock from their own design. Having a family photo or picture printed on a clock and choosing, for example, the shape of the hands. Among the ready-made wall clock models, those with children’s motifs were the biggest hit. It is gratifying that children’s rooms and playrooms are still adorned with clocks in their traditional form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ceremonial Launches and Anniversary Models<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year’s Open Day had an exceptionally festive atmosphere. Two launches took place on stage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The anniversary Orl\u00edk wall clocks (limited edition of 300 pieces)<\/strong> were christened by the town mayor, Mr Milan Slav\u00edk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The prototype of the Orl\u00edk Respekt 60 LE wristwatch<\/strong> was then introduced to the world by Mr Libor Hovorka.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    These moments were among the highlights of the entire day and provided visitors with a truly unique experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Record Attendance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    In total, nearly 900 visitors<\/strong> passed through the manufactory during the day \u2013 the highest number in the last five years. This record delights us immensely and is proof that Czech PRIM watches hold a firm place in people’s hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are already looking forward to our next gathering in 2027. Thank you to everyone who shares with us the joy of tradition, honest craftsmanship, and the beauty of Czech PRIM watches.<\/p>\n\n\n
