The Czech Samurais team reviewed the Dakar 2025 route at the open day in Hlu\u0161ice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday 14 December, the Secondary Technical and Crafts School from Nov\u00fd Byd\u017eov held an Open Day in Hlu\u0161ice in the Nov\u00fd Byd\u017eov area. Members of the Czech Samurais team, in addition to exhibiting their racing vehicles, presented this year’s Dakar Classic 2025 route to interested visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sound of roaring engines and the scent of fresh tyres can get the adrenaline pumping in anyone. This thrilling experience was part of the open day at the aforementioned secondary school in the workshop premises in Hlu\u0161ice, where, among others, the Czech Samurais team also presented itself. This exceptional day offered visitors a unique opportunity to explore various interesting programmes and study options at the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of the Czech Samurais team excited many visitors. Their interesting Dakar Classic machinery demonstrated the high level of expertise that can be gained at the school. Visitors had the chance to see first-hand the enthusiasm of the team members, which inspires young students to pursue their dreams in motorsport. The ongoing Mechanic Academy project was also presented to visitors \u2013 now in its third year of collaboration with the Nov\u00fd Byd\u017eov Secondary Technical School \u2013 in which a selected student travels to Dakar as a mechanic. Young applicants to the school could learn how to get involved in this educational project. For everyone present, Toyota Land Cruiser pilot Ond\u0159ej Martinec also reviewed the Dakar 2025 route. It is currently the most discussed topic across categories, not only among “classics”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dakar 2025 will once again be a great challenge \u2013 it is set to be the toughest route in six editions in Saudi Arabia. It will truly be a mature Dakar. In this edition, nobody will have anything certain; the standings will change from the first to the last stage. Dakar Classic 2025 will have a brutal start, especially in the first half of the competition, when participants will face approximately 3,500 kilometres over six days, of which over 2,000 kilometres will be timed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilot Ond\u0159ej Martinec summarises the revealed 2025 route: “A Chrono 48h stage plus a marathon stage right in the first half of the rally. We’ll see how the organisers handle it for the ‘classics’. We don’t have more information on that yet. These two very tough stages can cause major problems, because if you have a technical issue, it usually shows up early. These special stages can significantly shake up the starting field. I think this year it will be a lot about endurance, not speed. And let’s be honest, that also applies to regularity. We have to manage our race to the maximum, and that’s what will decide things in the end. Anyone who’s used to driving flat out every day will pay for it in the second week.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ji\u0159\u00ed Kop\u0159iva, co-driver in the Toyota, adds: “Looking at it, the route for Dakar Classic seems like it will be very demanding. Every day we’ll face a large portion of kilometres, which means very early mornings. We’re not used to that from previous years. At first glance it looks quite insane. It’s good that they’re also toughening things up in our category. We’re looking forward to the tough stages! I can take a leisurely drive on the road on the way to Brno.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also featured workshops demonstrating practical skills such as welding and car repairs. The experience gained offered participants the chance to learn craft skills that are key in many industries. The opportunity to try out machines and tools helps students understand the practical side of their education and makes learning more interesting and enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another attraction were the stands of local culinary and butchery programmes, where students could enjoy delicious delicacies and learn practical knowledge about food production. This also highlights the diverse opportunities at this secondary school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
