We are pleased that our collaboration and traditional Czech watchmaking are being written about. In this article, you will learn more about the limited edition PRIM watches inspired by the legendary Dakar rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Czech watch manufacturer PRIM has been presenting special watches for the world’s toughest race, Rallye Dakar, for several years now. This year is no exception. The limited edition PRIM Dakar 2025 watches are already available for pre-order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s watches<\/a> PRIM Dakar 2025 come in a black and red design. For the first time in the company’s history, they are made from carbon fibre, which not only makes them look great but also makes them lightweight and durable. Also for the first time, the limited edition number appears on the laser-engraved dial, and there is a chequered flag on the seconds hand, symbolising the end of the race. “When we as the PRIM team developed this model, we thought of everyone who never gives up and seeks challenges beyond the limits of possibility,”<\/em> writes the manufacturer on its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watches stand out with their colour combination, where the black and red scheme is featured not only on the dial (which also includes white) but also on the hand-stitched watch strap, threaded with red stitching. The dial also features a special Dakar logo, and beneath the sapphire crystal, the laser-engraved word Dakar can be seen around the inner bezel. The case back also features Dakar-themed elements. You can see the silhouette of this year’s route with the start and finish dates, as well as silhouettes of racing machines from all categories and other details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The modern design of PRIM Dakar 2025 reflects the adrenaline and determination that accompany every kilometre of this iconic race. Every detail of the watch has been carefully designed with passion and precision to combine style, durability and functionality. These watches are not just a timepiece, but also a symbol of adventure, courage and perseverance,”<\/em> adds PRIM itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only 100 pieces will be produced, and the price of each piece includes the option to engrave a name, surname, or monogram on the side plate of the watch (limited to 8 characters including spaces). If you do not want anything there, the plate will remain blank. And the price? You can already purchase the watches for CZK 26,990. The watches measure 45 x 13 mm and use the Ronda 5020.B calibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will ride at Dakar and to Dakar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The PRIM Dakar 2025 watches will once again make it to the Rallye Dakar race itself in 2025. However, it will not be with the long-time PRIM brand ambassador Tomas Ourednicek, as he will not be racing in the 2025 Rallye Dakar. Instead, he will be heading to the real city of Dakar, where the original Paris-Dakar rally route used to run. Ourednicek and his new co-driver Lukas Bartak will set off for the Africa Eco Race at the beginning of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watches will be taken to Rallye Dakar 2025 by the crew of the veteran and classic racing car event Dakar Classic. They will be worn by the crew of a Toyota Land Cruiser 90 — Ondrej Martinec and Jiri Kopriva from the Czech Samurais team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
