Time flies! In 2017, the Czech Olympic Team signed a partnership with the PRIM brand, and since then its watches have been on the wrists of Czech athletes at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang 2018, Tokyo 2020, and now the representatives will also wear them in Beijing 2022. And that is not the end. On the contrary! The partnership between PRIM and the Czech Olympic Team will continue at least through the Paris 2024 Games.
“For athletes, time is very important, which is why we are glad that we can always give them an original, beautiful, and at the same time practical memento of their Olympic experience. PRIM also supports young athletes or, conversely, coaches as part of our projects. We appreciate that our cooperation continues,” said Petr Graclík, Secretary General of the Czech Olympic Committee.
PRIM produces special watch models for athletes, which were part of the official Czech Olympic Team collection for the Games in Pyeongchang 2018, Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022. The watch design is always connected to the theme of the respective Olympic Games.
For this year’s Games in China, a limited edition of PRIM CZECH TEAM Made in Czech Republic watches was created. Czech gold medallists can also look forward to a reward each time — special personalised watches are made for them.
“PRIM watches have been a proud supplier to the Czech Olympic Team and Czech sport since 2017, and the extension of our cooperation is a motivation for us to design and produce further original watch editions. For our family company, it is a great honour to create limited edition watches for Czech Olympians that complement the sports Olympic collections. Our company motto is ‘my time, my world’ and we believe that ‘time’ is essential for every athlete, whether it concerns time spent in training, preparation, or the competition itself. The connection between time and sport is key for us,” emphasised Petr Hanko, owner of PRIM.
PRIM also donates watches for special occasions to Czech sports personalities. Olympic medallist Květa Pecková received them, for example, for her long-standing work at the helm of the Czech Fair Play Club.
PRIM also collaborates with projects of the Czech Olympic Committee, such as Sazka Olympic Multisport, T-Mobile Olympic Run, Czech Olympic Foundation and the Czech Coaching Academy.
